The Groes Girls // Series 002 Evie Henderson.
At GROES, personal style is always at the forefront. Our pieces are designed to blend effortlessly into your wardrobe — to be reinterpreted, reimagined, and worn your way.
We’re continuing our GROES Girls series, a celebration of the customers, creatives, and friends of the brand who embody our ethos of thoughtful style and quiet confidence.
This time, we caught up with Evie Henderson, London-based creative and founder of The Yellow World — a platform known for curating timeless objects and vintage finds. Evie styled The Erin Blazer, bringing her signature balance of ease and polish to the piece.
We asked her a few quick questions on denim, her go-to hangouts, and what inspires her everyday wardrobe.
WHO OR WHAT IS INSPIRING YOUR STYLE AT THE MOMENT?
My style is definitely subconsciously influenced by the ’90s — I love a great pair of jeans, a quality tank, and either boots or ballet flats. For going out, I’ll usually throw on a silk midi skirt. I don’t reinvent the wheel too often — I focus on quality and timeless staples over one-offs.
Caroline Bessette is always an inspiration.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE GROES PIECE AND WHY?
Currently obsessed with my new trench — it’s the perfect colour and length. I’ve been throwing it over everything.
YOU HAVE ONE OF THE BEST DENIM COLLECTIONS WE’VE SEEN - WHICH THREE PAIRS SHOULD WE ALL BE INVESTING IN RIGHT NOW?
Nili Lotan is my go-to denim brand — they offer longer lengths, which are surprisingly hard to find! Also living in this amazing pair from Ruadh lately. So flattering and versatile. I also love a slouchy jean for day to day and I'm loving this pair from Closed.
WHAT'S YOUR SUMMER UNIFORM IN THE CITY?
Right now, I’m living in my Le Monde Beryl ballet flats, a great pair of jeans, a fitted lightweight jacket, and a good tank top.
WHAT ARE YOUR CURRENT FAVOURITE HANGOUTS IN LONDON?
I recently went to Carmel in Queen’s Park for dinner — it’s such a cute spot, especially in summer when you can sit outside. I also love Kuro Bakery just off Notting Hill Gate. Great coffee and such a nice vibe.
